Current biofuels provide an important stepping stone to biofuels made from wood feedstocks (30 July 2010). BANZ welcomed the report released yesterday by the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment but said that if we are to achieve the potential for biofuels from wood we need to first consolidate the demand for biofuels produced from current feedstocks. BANZ Welcomes Grant Scheme "boost" (5 July 2010). Following today's announcement from Energy and Resources Minister Hon Gerry Brownlee that the Biodiesel Grants Scheme is to be extended from its current B20 focus to B100, the Bioenergy Association of New Zealand (BANZ) said the news was "a real boost to the sector".
